Why we exist
Most gatherings have the same quiet problem.
People show up, stand near the person they already know, and leave having met nobody new. Whoever organised it can feel it happening and has no good way to fix it in the moment.
The usual answers are worse than the problem. Icebreakers that make adults cringe. Quiz apps built for classrooms that ask everyone to download something first. A speaker who talks at the room instead of getting the room talking.
Neegma started in 2026 as an attempt at the version that actually works. Give one person real control of the room, put the questions on a screen everyone can see, and make it about the people in front of you. It has since run birthday parties, fintech meetups, team offsites and networking lunches across the UK and Nigeria.

One host, one screen
The host runs everything from a single device. Guests can join from their phones or just play along in the room, so nobody is left out because their battery died.
Games about your people
Write your own questions, or let our AI draft a set from a description. The rounds that land hardest are the ones about the room they are played in.
Built for hosts who repeat
Save a running order as a template, reuse it, and sell it to other hosts. Approved partners run their own storefronts on the platform.

Builds and runs Neegma, and still hosts sessions personally. Most of what ends up in the product comes from watching a real room get stuck on something.

Four things we will not trade away.
The room comes first
We optimise for how a gathering actually feels, not for time on screen. If a round is dragging, the product should end it, not stretch it.
Nothing to install
A link and a code. Every barrier between someone arriving and someone playing is a barrier we treat as a bug.
Proof over claims
The numbers and event stories on this site come from real sessions and published recaps. If we cannot back it up, we do not print it.
Fun is the whole job
Plenty of tools promise engagement. We are trying to make people laugh in a room together, which is a harder and more useful problem.
